Using the Repair Kit

How to Repair a Bed Liner:

  1. Make sure you have all of the components in order to properly make the repair:
    • The gun
    • Repair material
    • Mixers
    • Silicone texture piece or a texture piece you have created out of bed liner material (texture square)
  2. Cut out the blister if there is one. If it is a gash or a gouge move on to step three.
  3. Clean the surface and make sure it is free of any residue from the blister if there is one. If there is a gash or gouge simply make sure the surface is clean from dirt and debris.
  4. Clean the surface with acetone.
  5. Place the repair tube in the gun.
  6. Put the static mixer on the tube securely.
  7. Press the trigger to get the product moving into the mixer.
  8. Keep the trigger pressed while the material fills the area you are repairing —
    • Make sure that there is not excess material on the surface
    • Remove overage if any in order to get a seamless patch
  9. Place the texture square on the surface. For security, we recommend that you tape it down with masking tape.
  10. After 5-7 minutes remove the tape and the texture square.
  11. Your repair is complete.
  12. Do not place heavy equipment or machinery in the bed for 48 hours.
